OnScale is a cloud based FEA package which offers a step change in engineering simulation. Its highly efficient solvers are orders of magnitude faster than legacy packages, making them ideal for the large problems typically faced by MUT designers. Combined with the cloud’s near infinite computational resources, it can tackle today’s toughest engineering challenges.
OnScale’s solvers support fully coupled time domain piezoelectric, electrostatic and thermal analysis, and as part of the PZFlex package, have been used in MUT simulation for over 15 years. Their high efficiency allows users to simulate large 3D array structures and extract many typical experimental metrics such as inter-element cross-talk, transmit-receive sensitivity and bandwidth.
With the ability to run 1000s of simulations in parallel, and flexible packages available from $5k, OnScale opens the door to new possibilities in MUT design.
